Currently our services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow up care, brief supportive psychotherapy, and mental health education. We commonly support adults experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief, loss, adjustment difficulties, and emotional challenges related to life changes or medical conditions.
Kore Mental Health currently is a Cash based practice. We only accept self-pay services at this time. Upon request, a superbly may be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out- of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement vary by insurance plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly for specific benefits.
Your first appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to better understand your current concerns, medical and psychiatric history, medications, symptoms, lifestyle, and treatment goals. Together , we will discuss appropriate treatment options and develop an individualized plan of care. If medication is recommended, the risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow- up plan will be reviewed with you.
Kore Mental Health is a Telehealth- based practice. Appointments are conducted through a secure virtual platform, allowing you to receive psychiatric care from a private and convenient location. Patients must be physically located in a state where their provider is licensed at the time of the appointment. Currently our providers are located in the the state of Georgia.
Medication recommendations are made based on each patients individual clinical needs, medical history, safety considerations, and applicable prescribing regulations. Kore Mental Health does not guarantee that a specific medication will be prescribed. Certain controlled medications may not be prescribed or may require additional evaluation, documentation, monitoring, or referral to another provider when clinically appropriate. At this time, Kore MentalHealth does not prescribe Stimulants or Benzodiazepines.
Kore Mental Health provides outpatient psychiatric care for a variety of mental health concerns. However, some conditions may require a higher level of care or more specialized treatment than can be safely provided through our telehelath practice. This may include active psychosis, severe substance use disorders requiring detoxification, acute eating disorders, or individuals experiencing an immediate risk of harm to themselves or others. If your needs fall outside the scope of our services, we will recommend an appropriate referral or higher level of care.
Kore Mental Health currently does not diagnose or treat ADHD.
